Today, we begin a new line of discussion in regards to preparedness. It is just good sense to prepare for disasters such as volcanic eruptions, tornados, hurricanes, tsunamis, and even a magnetic pulse attack or accident. Also, even though it is thought that our moon will not explode or break up, it is still not outside of the realm of possibility. What kinds of things might this event bring? How should we prepare? Please take time to consider these events and what you might need to survive for the first 72 hours , the most critical time for most of us, as we wait for services to be restored - ambulances, hospitals, police protection, water and sewer if in town, garbage collection, road prepair and debris removal, electricity being restored, stores being reopened and banks being reopened- will there be food shortages? It is very difficult and uncomfortable to even think of these scenarios, but now is the time to plan, before such events come our way. E Mail me with suggestions for topics and with your ideas, and stop by the show to join in the discussion!
