The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5: 8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:..
Those who are devoured are those who are not watching, not praying, who become vulnerable and unprotected from the enemy. The Lord has called us to victory- every time. However we must put on the whole armor of God. If any part of the armor is missing, we will be a target for the enemy. We must be equipped, ready, in prayer, with our spiritual eyes opened.
If we don't pray we can become a prey.
