In today's show, we will learn about the Celtic seasonal festival of Samhain (pronounced sau-in) with our guest Edie Stone, a teacher of Celtic spirituality and shamanism, and a psychotherapist in Boulder, Colorado. Samhain is the Celtic version of the Day of the Dead, honoring ancestors when the veil between the worlds is thinnest. Edie will share with our audience how she uses the power of ritual, rhythm, shamanic journeys, and therapy to help groups and individual clients release, heal, and transform grief, loss, and trauma. She has recently discovered how EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) by helping clients release their grief, often leads to experiences of direct communication with their loved ones.
