When Donna Goldbranson of Fairfax County, VA learned of the options awaiting her adult daughter with disability upon graduation from high school, she was underwhelmed and started SPARC Solutions. SPARC Solutions empowers adults with disabilities to live as engaged citizens and contribute to society. Founder and President Donna Goldbranson joins us to discuss the program, how it was created and why we need more parent led solutions. Also joining us will be DC Parent Jen Dollar to discuss why her son crosses the state line to access a fulfilling future rather than relying on services in his own neighborhood.
