For centuries thinkers have been trying to imagine more humane socio/economic systems. We never hear the names of most of them but their contributions were absorbed and eventually helped to form published works that we learn from today and attribute to specific persons. One of these works is, 'Utopia', by Sir Thomas More. Recently, while Jeff and I were on a road trip, we listened to this book on CDs. Written about 500 years ago, the ideas are still fresh and speak to the problems we still live with today. We will play some excerpts. We are in the process of getting permission from BlackstoneAudio.com to play the recording in its entirety. Please join our conversation as it is stimulated by the mind of Thomas More.
