Chuck Gregory and Mike Palecek are proud to welcome poet Leigh Herrick and our monthly columnist Sherwood Ross to Thursday nights show. LEIGH HERRICK is a poet, writer and recording artist whose work has been anthologized and widely published in print and electronic journals. Her two CDs are Just War (2004) and Monocle Man (2009). Herrick is an engaged poet, having attended protests in Washington, D.C., Fort Benning, GA, and Madison, WI. A two-time Pushcart Prize nominee, Herricks book, HOME FRONT: Poems of the Bush II Years, was released in October 2012. Sherwood Ross has provided a monthly column to the show since May 2011. His columns have triggered more discussion than any other item on our show. Hell be providing his informal poll of Florida voters. As always, the show will include commantary and fun bits from Chuck and Mike, and finish with The News from Mount Liberty.
