Romans 1 - When a nation goes antichrist

Romans 1 gives a progressive list of the way nations go astray. The list is terrifyingly accurate in its descripition of post-modern America. Step by step, America, which once openly advocated for the inherent value of Christian morals and had President's lauding the value of the Bible, has descended by big steps and little to the very precipice of moral bankruptcy and the judgment of God. Abortion, gay rights, imperious elements in the government, fornication, adultery, greed, all of these issues describe America. Is there still a remnant and what can this remnant do to help?
