Happy Birthday! Big Changes and New Co-host! No, not to you, to the House of Harley Show! Yep, that's right, we have turned the big ONE today! It is hard to believe that it has been a year. I remember this time last year when I launched the House of Harley Show. My vision was to bridge the gap between the ages through thought-provoking topics about race, class, gender, sexual orientation, and religion. I was bothered by the issues that were affecting all of us, respectfully, and was saddened how social media had contributed to that. People are voicing their opinions more, but hiding behind avatars which are leading to little to no contribution for the change we need. Looking back over this year, I have learned that people, specifically our youth, are seriously misled and desperately need guidance, resulting in them looking for something to fill the self-love gap. This show has changed my life, by encouraging me to be more active in my community and I feel it is time for people to have a coming out party, and do the same. Over the next year, we will be focusing on taking the talks to the streets with live remotes, community service projects, and educating our listeners more with special guest from specialized fields. We will also plan to travel to special events for more focused one-on-one interviews. We are also opening up the opportunity for sponsors who support real talk conversation that result in change. Last but not least, I am excited to announce that the beautiful and talented Thetyka Robinson-Husser will be joining me as a co-host. She brings an intellectual approach, in the areas of sociology and anthropology, and isn't bounded by one chain of thought.
