Susan Block, owner of The Designing Block, knows what it is like to find a new career after having a family. After graduationg frorm Washington U with a degree in fine arts, Susan worked as a fashion co-ordinator for Famous-Barr. It wasnt until she was married with children that she started her design firm in 1980 and then went on to open her store, The Designing Block,in 1996. The store is well known for its eclectic style and friendly atmosphere. Susan says "We believe you should be just as fashionable as your home." She is also very active in the community.
