HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF...? - Jul 28,2013

Joseph Brewer, Blake Lamb, Jeremy Morris, Gizzell Ford, Tommie Bates, Jeremiah Brown, Darryl Green and Marlon Young; or the two things they have in common? The two things that they have in common are that they are all black, and are a part of Chicago's homicide statistics for July 10 thru 17, 2013. The fact that they were killed at the hands of black assailants, explains why you never heard of them. These nine people, ages ranging fom 8 to 39, also join the ranks of twenty other blacks that were killed in the FIRST WEEK of July ALONE; also at the hands of black assailants. Somewhere along the line this society seems to have determined that it is okay to randomly take the lives of tens of thousands of blacks in this country (mostly children and young adults); as long as the assailant is another black. On today's show we will bring awareness to this occurrence, with the intent that we, as a society, take a moment of pause and re-think our position on this matter. (It's called living from within).
