Every February, there is Black History Month and Madame CJ Walker seems to make the list of American Negro accomplishments. When it comes to American Indigenous Coppertone hair, did Walker help or hinder the care of so-called Black people’s hair? Why do women choose to walk away from natural hair and reach for weaves or wigs? Why the cover up?
Is it simply cosmetic? and what are the consequences in the process of getting a weave?
Aside from thinning hair or having a medical condition, why do American Indigenous People risk possible health issues caused by the up keep of a weave? Why do so-called White America view Natural Coppertone Hair as unprofessional in the workplace? Why are Indigenous students forbidden to wear their own hair?
What is the deep secret behind ‘The Crown’, Indigenous Amer'ican hair?
