For David, doubt and unbelief with weariness had entered in. He was able to remember the good things that God had done in his life and encouraged himself in the Lord.
After God told David to go out and fight his enemies, he discovered a young Egyptian along the way. This young man took David down to the enemy troops. This young man opened up a door for David. God allowed David to recover all and then some. Don't set your sights too low. When you've gone through a trial, God will let you recover all and then some.
