AdeKunle Akangbe is a third generation wood carver. As a Yoruba born traditionalist, Awo Akangbe took the art from his well renowned father and Woodcarver Kasali Akangbe Ogun. Awo Adekunle Ogun believes deeply in the saying, “Honesty is the best policy”, incorporating this belief into his everyday life. As a straight forward person, AdeKunle believes that truth is uncompromising for self betterment and it always should be told. Speaking your mind for him is not for the faint of heart, yet for him it is a tradition.
Awo AdeKunle has chosen to continue to link Ifa worshippers and non-Ifa spiritualist’s that seek knowledge of self and more importantly, Ifa and Orisha ways of the Yoruba in the past and currently.
Mr. Akangbe is extremely knowledgeable about the “Yoruba way of Life”, and can share folklore passed down to him by ancestors, and still being shared in his hometown of Oshogbo.
Adeola addresses topics on spiritual growth, explores wisdom teachings, builds interfaith understanding to engage you into discovering what was always in front of your eyes. This program is presented to reawaken consciousness to the wonder in everyday experiences. Celebrating life. Living in gratitude. Honoring Faith.
