This Week: Don't Let Them Fool You.
It really doesn't matter what racial identity one claims, or what sexual identity, gender identity, sexual orientation or ethnicity. What really matters is do you love? Are you a partnership person if you are superior it comes from your ability to support others and promote power with, or a dominator who feels that you are superior because of your ability to exercise power over people by any means possible? Do you want to get the dominant culture off of your back so you can go back to the way it used to be when the people were oppressed by their own people like they used to be, instead of outsiders? This is how many of our freedom fighters feel. We like them. We follow them and support them because they are saying the right things and because of their carisma, but many are wolves in wolf's clothing only wanting to take the place of the dominator so they can do the exact same things--because of their carisma. Don't let them fool you. They are part of the problem. Our Dharma talk will focus on the real problem and how all of us can deal with it.
