C. Saadat is Currently an undergrad at The Ohio State University studying African & African-American Studies with a minor in Anthropology specializing in Egyptology. With a previous degree in Early Childhood Education from Kaplan University, I he has spent the previous three years working in various functions in and around the Columbus (Ohio) Public School district. he has worked as both the After School Program Coordinator for the King Arts Complex in Columbus, as well as the Site Director for the Freedom School, both of which were designed to enhance the educational capabilities of young Black students while also promoting diversity in the arts. Upon becoming selected as the Vice-President of the Parent Advisory Board for the Columbus City Preparatory School for Boys (an All-Boys Middle School comprised of 90% African-American middle school young men) he has also developed and taught the school's first ever poetry class last school year.
