Pinto, Ph.D., California State University Dominguez Hills She earned her B.A. in Sociology and Spanish at San Diego State University. Dr. Pinto earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology at the University of California, Los Angeles.  While at UCLA she was affiliated with the Chicano Studies Research Center and was a Teaching Assistant in the Chicana/o Studies Department Posteoctoral research at the University of California, Riverside in the Center for Family Studies and the Sociology department. Faculty at CSU, Dominguez Hills, Associate Professor and graduate coordinator in the Department of Sociology. Jacqueline Arroyo-Romano, Ph.D., Texas A & M International University Currently works at Texas A & M International University in the Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy, as a bilingual/ESL assistant professor.
