Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison Texas continues speaking about Jeremiah, the office of the prophet, and the call of the prophet. There are false prophets today. The false always shows the evidence of the real. There are true prophets, both male and female. Many times a prophetic voice is ahead of his time. John the Baptist is an example of this. God is raising up prophets in this day to prepare people for the coming of the Lord. A prophet many times will seem like he is out of step to other people. Jeremiah who was called at 17 years old is an example of this, as was Martin Luther King, and even Abraham Lincoln. A prophet can be in many places in our society.
Do not hold back the word of prophesy within you. Pastor Brad gives some practical examples of this concept. When you speak the word of the Lord it will start to set things in motion, set things towards change. In Isaiah 50:5-9 it says: "The Lord God has opened My ear; And I was not rebellious, Nor did I turn away. I gave My back to those who struck Me, And My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.“For the Lord God will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced; Therefore I have set My face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed. He is near who justifies Me; Who will contend with Me? Let us stand together. Who is My adversary? Let him come near Me. Surely the Lord God will help Me; Who is he who will condemn Me?
Indeed they will all grow old like a garment; The moth will eat them up."
God is bringing new strategies and new visions to peoples lives in this time. God will right the wrongs, straighten you assigment -- one day it will be one way, and the next day it will be completely different.
God will use your life to change other people.
