We were created to love and to be loved. Most of us see love as a feeling or emotion. And it is. But love is also much more.Love is a consecration of ones heart, soul, and mind to a person, or persons no matter how the other person feels about us. Real, sustaing love, is unconditional. Love can hurt but it doesn't stop. It hurt God to love us. How? God was hurt to see Jesus dying and suffering on the cross for us. But His love didn't stop. This is why the bible say's God first loved us when we did not love Him, or even know Him. God was not waiting for you or me to love Him before He loved us or embraced us.This is love. Jesus said we as believers (followers of Jesus as a lifestyle, not just as a church member) would be known by the love we have for one another (John 13:34-35). One of the greatest characteristics missing from the church today is love for one another. We seem to want God's favor, blessings, and breakthroughs for our problems, more than loving Hom or our neighbor. The greatest commandment in the bible is this: To love the Lord your God (your Creator) with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul, and all your strength. And the second is like unto it; love your neighbor as yourself. There was a song out years ago by Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway called "Where Is The Love?". Tune in Today's Broadcast and lets look at "Where Is the Love".
