Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison Texas continues speaking about Jeremiah and the call of the prophet. It is good that call still calls up prophets in the earth someday. Prophets are real people who God calls and gives a word to prophesy. In addition, they preach and teach. A prophet can have any occupation, not just full-time ministers. Prophets can function in many different setting. A prophet can divide people in a good way. This was the case with Jerememiah at it says in Jeremiah 1:10, "See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms,To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down,To build and to plant.” Pastor Brad explains this passage. He further demonstrates the work of a process by explaining the prophet Moses.
Sometimes our calling as believers can take many years. The devil will work in this time delay and try to convince us that things promissed will not come. The prophet will often come along to encourage us. You might be going through something that is very difficult today, but be encouraged to walk through. In Isaiah 50:4-7 it says, “The Lord God has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned. The Lord God has opened My ear; And I was not rebellious, Nor did I turn away. I gave My back to those who struck Me,And My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting. “For the Lord God will help Me.
In this month of December, God is going to set a course, write the wrongs and regrets, and you will learn to sing a new song. Pastor Brad provides a prophesy he received regarding the release of this new song.
