Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, TX speaks about God's desire to pour out something fresh upon our lives. Whatever God has called you to do, God is wanting us to reposition. To reposition means that we were in position for something in the first place. We need something new and fresh from God. In James 1:12 it says, "Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him." This crown represents a new authority, a new quality of life.
Further in 1 Peter 5:5 it says, Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.” As we are repositioning ourselves we are being clothed with humility. We are becoming teachable. You can learn from other people and other streams of God.
1 Peter 5:6-7 concluded, "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you."
