A lot of times we are unaware of the subtle suggestions and manipulation that transpires when we are within a group verses alone. Tonight we will explore these, many times, unspoken recommendations in the context of cults. I will define various types of cults, the tall tell signs of being in a cult, and the internal pressure of cult identity. We will get into the experience of the group while being inside of and exiting a religious cult, particularly the World Mission Society Church of God. Joining me will be a former deacon, Chris Herbert, sharing his story and the psychology of the crowd as it pertains to his experience.
